Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Stamford on March 21, 2018 at 6:45p.m. at the Village Hall, 84 Main Street, Stamford, New York, 12167, to hear all persons interested regarding a proposed local law to amend the Village of Stamford Sewer Use Law. The proposed local law revise the penalty charge from 20% to 10% for fees that remain unpaid for 30 days, and to impose a 15% penalty charge for fees that remain unpaid for 60 days. The proposed amendment would also change the date by which delinquent charges would be referred to the Village Board for addition to the real property tax from thirty (30) days to sixty (60) days. Copies of the proposed local law are available at the Village Hall for review. Interested members of the public are encouraged to attend the public hearing and comment on the proposed local law. The Village Board will also consider any written comments that are received.
