BOARD OF TRUSTEES
SPECIAL MEETING
January 29, 2008
5:30 PM
PRESENT: Trustee Bruce Velan, Trustee Joan Hinman, Mayor Anne Slatin.
ABSENT: Donna Jacobs, Trustee; Frederick Doyle, Trustee.
Mayor Slatin called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM.
Bruce Velan, seconded by Joan Hinman, made a motion to replace Harvey Slatin with Dick Hinman, as a member of the Village of Stamford Board of Assessment and Review. Harvey will be in Florida when the board meets on February 19, 2008 (Grievance Day). Motion passed. Velan – Yes; Hinman – Yes; Slatin – Yes.
A motion was made by Bruce Velan, seconded by Joan Hinman, to give permission to Codes Enforcement Officer Richard Doyle, to obtain an entry warrant from the village justice. The purpose of the warrant is to gain access to the building at 128 West Main Street, Stamford, NY, to do a fire inspection. The owner of the property has been uncooperative in allowing Mr. Doyle access. Motion passed. Velan – Yes; Hinman – Yes; Slatin – Yes.
Meeting adjourned at 5:50 PM.
