A motion was made by Fred Doyle, seconded by Joan Hinman, to post the following notice on the premises at 5-9 Harper Street:

    THE VILLAGE OF STAMFORD
    NOTICE

BE ADVISED THAT THIS BUILDING AT 5-9 HARPER STREET HAS BEEN ISSUED ORDERS TO REMEDY FIRE AND BUILDING CODE VIOLATIONS.  THESE VIOLATIONS HAVE NOT BEEN CORRECTED.  UNTIL THE VIOLATIONS ARE CORRECTED, THIS BUILDING IS UNINHABITABLE.  THIS NOTICE ADVISES TENANTS THAT THEY SHOULD NOT CONTINUE TO RESIDE IN THIS BUILDING, AS THE UNCORRECTED VIOLATIONS PUT TENANTS’ LIVES AT RISK.
