PRESENT: Anne P. Slatin, Mayor; Joan Hinman, Trustee; Frederick Doyle, Trustee; Bruce Velan, Trustee; Donna Jacobs, Trustee; Alayna Weingates, Village Treasurer.
Frederick Doyle, seconded by Joan Hinman, made a motion to advertise to go out to bid for the purchase of an Automatic Water Meter Reading System. Advertisements will be placed in The Mountain Eagle (once) and the Daily Star (twice), in the legal section. Motion passed unanimously. Doyle – Yes; Hinman – Yes; Velan – Yes; Jacobs – Yes.
Frederick Doyle, seconded by Joan Hinman, made a motion to surplus the 1998 John Deere 345 lawn tractor, Serial #M00345A043178. The John Deere tractor will be placed in front of the village hall with a “FOR SALE” sign that says, “Inquire Within.” Prospective buyers will be advised that sealed bids will be accepted until September 17, 2007. Motion passed unanimously. Doyle – Yes; Hinman – Yes; Velan – yes; Jacobs – Yes.
